March 5th & 6th, 2010
Registration Information
The River Classic will be held March 5th & 6th 2010, at James River Assembly of God. The tournament will offer quizzing in three divisions. "A" Championship (National level teams) and "A" Challenger (A-league teams) divisions will quiz over all of I & II Corinthians with questions by Seth Sundell. Contender (Novice teams) will quiz over all of I Corinthians with questions by Brian Lewis. Opening service will begin in the Factory auditorium (same as last year) in the main building at 9:00am Friday. Teams should check in no later than 8:45am. Rooms will open at 8:30am for teams to warm-up. We expect to finish around 3:00pm on Saturday. We are working on a fun event for all the teams to attend after quizzing on Saturday and will let the teams know prior to the tournament.
We are offering numerous scholarships and will announce the specifics of these scholarships prior to the March time frame. We will also offer a One-on-One competition over the applicable material for the various divisions with prizes for the winning quizzers.
Registration Fee is $70.00 per team if received by February 1st (After February 1st $80.00 per team).

By coming to the River Classic, you give permission for your quizzers, coaches, and officials to be photographed or taped. These recordings may be used as a promotional video for Bible Quiz on a web site.
Hotel Information
Sleep Inn - Medical District (same as last year's hotel) has graciously agreed to partner again with The River Classic this year, and their financial participation is dependent upon how many rooms are used for the tournament. The Sleep Inn has an indoor pool, hot tub and free wireless high speed internet service. We are asking that every team utilize this great rate from the Sleep Inn. Hotel registration will be $69.99 per night which includes room and hot breakfast. Please note that the maximum number of people per room is FOUR. In order to receive this rate, you MUST call 888-753-3760 BEFORE February 19, 2010 and use reservation code RIVER CLASSIC. There are a limited number of rooms available, and the tournament has expanded, so make your reservations as soon as possible.
Driving Directions
From the North (Sleep Inn - Medical District to JRAG)
Take Hwy 60 east for about 3 miles. At Hwy 65, go south (over the railroad tracks). Follow Hwy 65 for 2 exits to the J/CC exit (a car dealership on the right, the church on the left). Head east on J heading toward Lambert's restaurant. At the traffic light next to Lambert's restaurant, turn left following the winding road into the James River parking lot. Enter through the side entrance on the North side of the building.
From the South
Take Hwy 65 North from Branson until you reach the J/CC exit (a baseball stadium will be on your right). Turn right at the light and head east on J towards Lambert's restaurant. At the traffic light next to Lambert's restaurant, turn left and follow the winding road into the James River parking lot. Enter through the side entrance on the North side of the building.
